Did you know that 10% of the campaign spending in the recent presidential election went towards internet marketing? That’s 10 times as much as in the 2012 presidential election.

This is according to a recently published article in Marketing Land by James Green.

In this article, James also looks at how internet marketing is going to look during the Trump era.

He predicts that the death of net neutrality will happen, and that Trump will not be interested in preventing advertisers from being able to track consumers’ purchase behavior.

He also says that fake news is going to become more widespread. There’ll be a move away from fact based advertising and a move towards native content, where there’s more freedom to stretch the truth.

You can read James Green’s article here.
