The news has been ticking along in the world of internet marketing. People are tearing down websites, giving away their high end products for free and partnering with premium political publishers.

Let’s take a closer look.

Teardown of a Sales Website

OptimizePress is a plugin that allows you to do much more with WordPress. While WordPress is great for the basics, you also need a system to handle your squeeze pages, product pages and memberships. OptimizePress is one of many solutions that handle this, and its advantage is that it allows you to keep everything in the one system.

The OptimizePress team has been doing a number of “Website Teardowns”. In other words, they have been looking at the design of certain sales websites out on the internet, in a variety of markets. They’ve been analyzing why they work and then also how to re-create the design using the OptimizePress software.

The latest teardown, by David Frosdick, is of the sales website of a product called Mention.

One of Frank’s flagship information products at the moment is Ultimate Webinar Blueprint. He normally sells it for $2,997 but is giving it away for free for a limited time.

He’s doing this as a promotion for his new Frank Kern Inner Circle monthly subscription. In addition, you also get a bunch of other bonuses, but only until tomorrow.

Premium Political Publishers Join Outbrain

Outbrain is a content discovery platform. In other words, you can use Outbrain to get traffic to your website by having Outbrain place ads on informational and news websites, usually below the article in a section labeled Related Articles or something similar.

According to a recent announcement by Chris Signore, the websites in the Outbrain network that will host your ads include a number of premium political publishers.

In addition to the existing CNN, Fox, The Hill, The National Review, and the Washington Times, Outbrain has recently added IJR, Salon, and Politico to its expanding network.

That’s all for today. Keep an eye out for the next newsletter, and reach out if you need anything.
